Users who have an approved account and are still facing a trial error can follow the below instructions:
We understand that you might be facing a trial error on a Bentley software as a student. As an initial step, please make sure your CONNECTION Client is updated, you can update it here – CONNECTION Client | Bentley Systems

To fix the trial issue follow the instructions provided below:

You can try to reset the policy to fix the trial error -

  1. Launch CONNECTION Client
  2. Click on your name initials at the extreme right-hand upper corner and then select Licensing tool.

  1. Now Go to Tools and click on Reset Policy.

Now you can launch the software and then check the CONNECTION Client. If you see the “License Type” for a software

as “Student” that would mean the license for that product/software is now active.
