<p><br /><br />Phd Architect from Barcelona School of Architecture, Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC). Since 1979 full professor at ETSAV Valles School of Architecture, UPC-Barcelona Tech. His academic career includes teaching and research at undergraduate, masters and Phd.<br /><br />His teaching experience, as a member of the Dibuix I Unit team in ETSAV, includes various Graphical Expression subjects as well as Architecture Project Workshops I, II, III, VII, VIII, IX and X. Member of the Graduation Design Project Referee Board.<br /><br />He has been teacher of Master of Interior Design , UPC Foundation, and for ten years at Master Lab Sustainable XXI Century Housing, UPC Foundation, Head of Rehabilitation Building Housing Project course. Lectured at Eina and Elisava Schools of Design in Barcelona. Head of the UPC Research Groups "Perception in the Generation of Architectural Graphic Image" and "The Expression of Architectural Project” , both related to the Phd Program "Visual Communication in Architecture and Design", UPC . Director of seven Phd Doctoral thesis.<br /><br />Author of two books on Architecture and numerous articles, conference papers, lectures and exhibitions on topics such as teaching, research and practice of architecture, his teaching and research always dealing with contemporary architecture design processes. <br /><br />Winner of 12 first prizes in public facilities architecture competitions. Six of his projects were nominated for Barcelona FAD International Awards, two of them finalist as the best public facilities architecture. His work has been published in several Architecture books, exhibition catalogs and in the leading national and international journals.</p>
