Funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, this is a project about innovative symbioses in architectural education.
The AREQAU conference organized by IEREK and ETSAV – Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, BarcelonaTECH – seeks to promote and disseminate knowledge of the integration of technologies of renewable and alternative energy in physical design.
ETSAV Alumni Rafael Aranda, Carme Pigem and Ramon Vilalta receive the 2017 Pritzker Architecture Prize. In their work, "landscape and architecture are united to create buildings that are intimately connected to place and time."
International colloquium and workshop, dealing with micro-interventions in the street as a vehicle for urban regneration, under the auspices of the Biennale dello Spazio Pubblico 2017, UN-Habitat, INU and Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona CCCB. Five schools of architecture will participate: ETSAV / Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Università di Enna 'Kore', Università di Catania, Università Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria, and Università di Trento.
The conference aims to explore “How the architects’ profile in MEDES countries can be built through educational structures and pedagogical strategies and processes and how will local particularities be projected in the educational contents and methods so that the local and the international will collaborate constructively”.
ETSAV Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya Team has been selected to participate in the upcoming Solar Decathlon Europe 2019, coorganized with the Energy Endeavor Foundation. Along with ETSAV, other fifteen international schools of architecture will go tête-à-tête in the competition, set for July 2019.
