L'equip ETSAV UPC ja treballa per al proper Solar Decathlon Europe 2019

20 desembre 2017_ L'organització del concurs internacional ha comunicat que l'ETSAV —en nom de la UPC— ha estat seleccionada, amb altres 15 equips, per a participar de nou al concurs Solar Decathlon Europe en la seva edició de 2019, que tindrà lloc a Szentendre, Hongria. I això també és un reconeixement, molt especialment pels estudiants que han preparat la candidatura i que els ha fet mereixedors de la felicitació per part dels organitzadors i, ara, de tota la comunitat.
Un SDE19 que, tal i com es va presentar la candidatura a la Junta d’Escola, no el fem per a continuar una tradició —serà la quarta vegada consecutiva que hi participem— sinó per a usar-lo com a motor, com a taula de proves, d’un canvi pedagògic que impulsi el learning by doing com a metodologia d’aprenentatge a la nostra escola. En aquesta ocasió, anirà acompanyat d'una monitorització del treball dels estudiants que hi participin que permeti reconèixer les competències adquirides en el seu desenvolupament, en funció de l'itinerari de cadascú en el projecte; un experiment innovador al que hi convidarem altres estudiants i professors de la UPC.
Hi participaran també equips d'Espanya (Sevilla i València), Itàlia (el Politecnico di Milano, guanyador de l'edició 2014), el Regne Unit, Romania, Hongria, Holanda, Dinamarca, Bèlgica, Grècia, França, Estats Units i Tailàndia.

The joint EEF_SDE19 Selection Committee is delighted to announce that Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya team has been selected to participate in the upcoming Solar Decathlon Europe, set for July 2019, in Szentendre, Hungary. After careful evaluation of your full application submitted on 16 November 2017, the expert Jury members of the Selection Committee unanimously supported your proposal and awarded it a very high overall score. Well done! The jury procedure was detailed in scope, including a compliance check, preliminary scoring and final full assessments. These steps help to maintain the standards, calibre and rigour of the SDE mandate.
The Energy Endeavour Foundation and the SDE19 Organisation look forward to a fruitful collaboration with the selected teams, sharing the objective of an intrepid, responsible and successful edition of the Solar Decathlon in Europe.
